They have the knowledge and skills obtained through their university training to provide very high standards of treatment for children, including extensive behavioural management skills to make your child feel at ease. Our Oral Health Therapists are also active participants in promoting good early childhood dental awareness in the community. They have visited multiple kindergartens to provide complimentary information sessions and packs to benefit children in the eastern suburbs.

Creating a positive dental experience is very important to begin a lifetime of good dental health. Dental problems can start at a very early age. Even the baby teeth that grow in the mouth from the age of 6 months can have an important role to play on the final health and alignment of the adult teeth. There are also ever changing challenges to the health of the teeth at varying age groups into adulthood. We recommend that your child has a dental check up from the age of 2 upwards.
